The Bourne Legacy
While it’s missing the leading man that pretty much made the other Bourne films, we hope this will still be a good watch. ’The Bourne Legacy’ is about a new CIA operative that pretty much has to deal with the life or death events due to his mysterious past… much like the previous films.
Though I don’t think Jeremy Renner really commands the screen or has that depth of humanity that Matt Damon brought to the earlier films, which possibly is why they’ve also cast big names such as Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton to fill the big shoes Damon left behind.
Apparently Damon decided against starring in ‘The Bourne Legacy’ because previous director Paul Greengrass wasn’t going to be on board this time, allowing screenwriter Tony Gilroy to claim the director’s chair.
